My opinion of this week's word gen topic was that pet renting is pointless. People could rent pets and do pretty much anything they want with them, and those things may be abuse. Many people think pet renting is beneficial because people can test whether they are responsible for a pet or not. Well, you can't learn if you're responsible for a living being in a day or two. Plus, all dogs are different so you can't base your decision on this one experience. I am obviously with the con position on this topic. Dogs will be scared going from house to house frequently. When we debated, some people thought that dogs can't think or reason. I thought that was very untrue. My dog knows where all the food is in my house. All in all, I'm against pet renting, but it was kind of fun to debate about it.
